A global UX/UI project for EWTN

por Guido Culasso Moore

Over these past months, we’ve been working with EWTN on the UX/UI development of its news portal. EWTN is the world’s largest Catholic cable network, with operations across all six continents. That makes this project especially interesting: it is not just a media outlet, but a platform with a global audience, a very distinctive identity, and a highly active community.

Our focus was on modernizing the site experience with a mobile-first approach, placing special emphasis on usability, performance, multimedia content, and also on key processes such as subscriptions and donations.

All the work was developed in Figma, based on a modular system that allowed us to organize the experience, bring consistency to the product, and make its future evolution easier.

In addition, we conducted interviews with people who matched the profile of the outlet’s audience, which gave us very valuable insights to better understand their needs, expectations, and the ways they engage with the platform.

But the portal is much more than a news site. It is a community of people who engage with its content, a network of specialists who contribute to the project, a knowledge base on Catholicism, and a meeting point for prayer.

Working with EWTN has been both a challenging and deeply enriching experience. We are very excited that they chose us to support them in their projects.
