New York University (NYU) certificate in UX Design
Always looking for improvement, we got certified by the NYU on the intensive course on UX Design
At iconosur we believe that continuous training is the key to personal and professional growth. For this reason, in 2015 our Design Director, Natalia Garrido, took a course on UX User Experience at the prestigious New York University (NYU).
UX Design (User Experience Design) or “User Experience Design” is a design philosophy that aims to create products that meet its final users specific needs, achieving the highest satisfaction and best possible user experience with the minimum effort. It takes shape as a process in which a series of multidisciplinary techniques are used and where each decision made must be based on the needs, objectives, expectations, motivations and capabilities of the users.
Most of the processes that do User Centered Design contemplate the following:
- Get to know end users thoroughly, usually using qualitative research or quantitative research.
- Design a product that meets your needs and meets your capabilities, expectations and motivations.
- Put the design to the test, using user tests.
The process for UX design is about understanding and designing the user experience from start to finish, and not just the site’s aesthetic appearance and functionalities.
Natalia Garrido is a Graphic Designer graduated from the University of Buenos Aires and founder of iconosur. With a vast experience, she participated in large-scale projects working for companies such as Clarín, Philip Morris, Michelin, Fox Sports, Intel Corp., Techint and TN among others.
