Integrate design and user experience to the CNN Intl ecosystem. Having this in mind, we worked along side the CNN en Español team to redesign their site. Focusing on the videos as their outstanding format that differentiates them from the rest of the media, distributing thematic content between Latin America, the United States and the rest of the world. Optimizing monetization opportunities, increasing visits and rearranging advertising spaces were some of the fundamental points that were taken into account.
CNN’s Nav bar was a key element in the design, providing belonging and including the Spanish site as part of the brand.
Ranking photos above text, independent mobile experience and horizontal navigation were also key decisions taken into account for the project of one of the most recognized news sites in the world.
